With much success in both 2007 and 2008, introducing over 40 top emerging designers to the world, FDE Florida will set the stage once again on October 29th-31st for the 2009 Fashion Designers Expo Florida featuring” PINK. HITS THE RUNWAY” benefiting Susan G. Komen For the Cure Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. This 4 star charity is the largest source of non-profit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.From extravagant runway shows to lavish parties, FDE Florida attracts the attention of thousands of Fashionistas worldwide. Taking place at only the most talked about “posh” venues in Florida, this event has grown into a huge phenomenon. Historically taking place in South Beach Miami, Downtown Miami, and Coral Gables, past venues include the world renowned Mansion South Beach, the prestigious Mayfair Hotel Cabana One Rooftop, Hyatt Regency Miami Convention Center with over 100,000 square feet of meeting space making it the largest event facility in Downtown Miami, and some of South Florida’s hidden jewels such as White Room, The Fifth, Voyage Miami, Sunset Place, and Dream Miami.

India International Fashion Week 2009 will be held at Sheraton Hotel from October 21 – 25, 2009. It is a mainstream fashion platform for established as well as emerging fashion designers from around the world, that intends to feed the Indian appetite for more and diverse fashion offerings. The event is a perfect opportunity for designers from all over the world to come together in cultural unanimity, to go beyond the limitless boundaries of fashion, beauty, and style as it conjures up a new world, a stimulating and enthralling fashion experience, the likes of which has never before been seen or experienced in India.
The 9th Japan Fashion Week 2009 will be held at Tokyo Midtown Hall from Oct 19 – 25, 2009. Japan Fashion Week provides an opportunity for both Japanese and Foreign designers who are interested in the Asian Fashion Market. We strongly feel that we are playing a role in creating a gateway into the world’s fashion industry for young talented designers which is one of the JFW’s goals.
Top Russian designers and foreign guests will present their collections for spring and summer 2010. This season’s RFW schedule includes Italian Day, made possible by Italy’s National Chamber of Fashion, organizer of Milan Fashion Week. Also coming to Moscow will be designers from the United States, Spain, Denmark and Malaysia.
The big news is that this year’s Russian Fashion Week will feature a greater number of showings by Russian designers than in previous years, despite the crisis. Returning to the RFW runway will be those who, for one reason or another, have not shown recently. The upcoming RFW will also be rich in debut collections.
Russian Fashion Week will kick off on 17 October as it always does with a showing by Slava Zaitsev. The maestro has put together a very special show for the first day. La Perla, Costume National, Krizia and Gattinoni, among others, will also have their new collections on the runway. Meanwhile, the ITC’s Congress Center will host a memorable parade by Russian Fashion Week habitu?s Toni Francesc and Maria Lafuente of Spain.
