Megan Fox Talks Past of Self-Abuse

megaShe definitely has a mysterious way about her, and during a recent interview Megan Fox revealed that she has a past with cutting herself.
megan-fox-9169-3When asked if she’d ever struggled with self-cutting, she replied, “Yeah. But I don’t want to elaborate. I would never call myself a cutter. Girls go through different phases when they’re growing up, when they’re miserable and do different things, whether it’s an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting.”
megan-fox-9169-1Fox continued, “If I did talk about it, I’d be taking on a role-model status, and I’d have to choose my words very carefully, and I’d have to make sure I reveal it in a specific way, and I don’t want to do it.”
Megan, surprisingly enough, also divulged that despite her sex symbol status, she has a tendency towards insecurity. “I’m really insecure about everything. I never think I’m worthy of anything… I have a sick feeling of being mocked all the time. I have a lot of self-loathing.”
“Self-loathing doesn’t keep me from being happy. But that doesn’t mean I don’t struggle. I am very vulnerable. But I can be aggressive, hurtful, domineering and selfish, too. I’m emotionally unpredictable and all over the place. I’m a control freak

Megan Fox Cosmopolitan October 2009

Megan Fox graces the cover of the October 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan. She shared some fun and weird facts about herself with the fashion bible which include her phobias, ideal date and more.
On her weirdest phobia:

“Touching newspaper.”

On the one thing she’s always wished she’d said “yes” to:

The Hannah Montana Movie

On her ideal date:

“A sexy sandwich with Andy Samberg and Jonah Hill…”

On the most scared she’s ever been:

“Everytime I go on stage — instant diarrhea.”

On being able to count the number of guys she’s gotten naked in front of on one hand:

“I never call them guys. I always called them boys. Maybe it’s a superiority complex–my needing to keep them down.”

On women having the power in a relationship:

“Women hold the power because we have the vaginas. If you’re in a heterosexual relationship and you’re a female, you win.”

On being a firm believer in monogamy:

“I have no problem with commitment–you can’t have a real relationship without it. I can flip on a switch in my brain, and even if the next Brad Pitt is standing next to me, I won’t look at him. but I can also turn that switch of, and then I collect attractive boys.” (She’s currently dating Brian Austin Green.)

On not going for the typical Hollywood types:

“It’s fun when someone intends to put you in his back pocket, but instead, he walks away wounded. I make it a mind game so they don’t know if I’m hitting on them or mocking them. Male actors drop lines about their private jets, trying to seem powerful, but I don’t give a s—. I don’t need someone else’s power. I’m obtaining my own.”
