Nelly Furtado has made history on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart with “Manos Al Aire“.
According to Billboard, “Manos Al Aire” is the first song to reach the top of the chart as an original Spanish song written by a North American singer/songwriter and the first for a US artist.
News of Furtado’s accomplishment comes just weeks before the release of her first Spanish-language album, “Mi Plan”.
Set for release September 14 internationally and September 15 in the United States, Furtado’s “Mi Plan’ will be complimented by an extensive promotional tour.
Kicking off September 13th, Furtado’s extensive promo tour include stops in Latin America and the US.
